The Sewing cooperative

The local women in the village came together about 40 years ago to construct the Sewing Cooperative . Then they started to accumulate sewing machines and to produce their products from colorful cloth.

Their themes include jungle, birds, and the animals of the Honduran rainforest. Murals, aprons, place mats, hot mats, and table cloths are just a few examples of their beautiful art.
