It is not a big resort. There are no crowds, no lines, no schedules being pushed on you. Just a small lodge set deep in the rainforest, where the sound of the river carries through the valley and the jungle surrounds everything.

Most people come here looking for something a bit more real. A place where you can wake up slowly, have coffee while the forest comes alive around you, and decide what the day looks like as it unfolds.

One day might take you down jungle trails to hidden waterfalls. Another might be spent swimming in the river, reading in a hammock, or sharing a long dinner after the sun drops behind the mountains.

It is simple in the best way. Quiet when you want it to be. And just adventurous enough to make the whole trip feel like something you will remember.

What it feels like to stay here

There are only a handful of rooms, spread out across a private stretch of rainforest just outside Pico Bonito National Park.

You are not checking into a busy hotel. You are stepping into a space that feels personal, where everything moves at a slower pace and nothing feels rushed.

Meals are prepared fresh each day. Drinks are always within reach. And everything from the trails to the waterfalls begins right on the property.

Even when other guests are there, it still feels like your own place.

The experience

There is no set way to do it, which is part of what makes it work.

You can spend a morning hiking through the jungle, an afternoon at a waterfall, and the rest of the day doing absolutely nothing.

Some guests choose to rappel down waterfalls. Others head out for snorkeling and island hopping. Some never leave the property at all.

There is no wrong way to do it.

Getting there

Most trips begin with a flight into Roatan or San Pedro Sula.

From there, everything becomes easier than you might expect. We help coordinate the next steps, whether that is a short local flight or a private transfer to La Ceiba, where we meet you and bring you to the lodge.

You do not need to piece it all together on your own.
