Las Cascadas Lodge is located on one of Central America's most beautiful rivers: the Rio Cangrejal. 

Our buildings have beautiful natural thatch roofing and will stand out as very spectacular upon your arrival.

The gardens are lush with exotic flowers, plants, and trees. The smell of life is in the air and the colors are vibrant and amazing. We have 5 natural pools on site waiting for you to swim in, relax by, and enjoy. Three of these also have natural waterfalls flowing into them. The pools are fresh, clear, and rejuvenating.

The Bejuco Cabin and the main house with Queen and Master Suite face the lower waterfall with great views and the incredible sound of falling water always in the background. Each accommodation has a private and screened veranda with seating facing the falls opening up to the jungle and wonderful sounds.

There are patios and seating by the falls and pools where a plethora of birds and other wildlife passes through daily. Guests have counted up to 40 bird species a day right on site including the widely sought after Lovely Cotinga. Lots of beautiful hardwood furnishings and fixtures adorn the hotel all wonderfully crafted and custom, one of a kind.

Each of our accommodations have large matrimonial beds with lovely bedding as well as small day beds perfect for napping or if traveling with a child or a friend. The bathrooms are all crafted with river stone and all have hot water and Western plumbing. We supply fresh bath and beach towels as well as daily cleaning. Bath amenities supplied in each room are ECO and we offer soaps, shampoos, and conditioner.

Las Cascadas Lodge is unique in offering high speed internet in all rooms as well as around the property, pool, and bar/lounge. We understand that keeping in touch with friends and family is important and have worked hard to make sure that you can be comfortable in an exotic, remote, location.

Las Cascadas Lodge is the only hotel to offer High Speed wireless internet connections in all rooms and all around the property.

In the sitting room/lounge and bar area the ceilings span 40 feet above your head and there are plush furnishings and great chairs for reading and viewing the falls and nature.

The bar is friendly and quaint. We serve amazing rum drinks and local South American wines in a comfortable and amiable fashion. No corkage if you want to bring some special wine or champagne of your own!

Climbing 400 feet from the hotel and over 700 feet of well maintained steps is our private trail... it's unrivaled! Round trip of about an hour with a soak in the Upper Falls pool the trail is amazing and boast the occasional monkey sighting and other wildlife. The falls is incredible location is one of a kind in Honduras. The trail is raked weekly and guests can hike on their own or request a guide if desired at no additional cost.
