HOTEL POLICIES
Advance reservations are required.
Please book at least 72 hours in advance.
It is important to us that each guest is given clear and accurate information to ensure a comfortable and enjoyable stay. Below you will find our hotel policies covering check-in/check-out times, cancellations, payments, and other important details. NO-SHOW POLICY
In the event of a no-show on the scheduled day of arrival, one night’s stay at the confirmed rate plus applicable taxes will be charged to the credit card used to guarantee the reservation, subject to the local exchange rate on the day of charge.
SMOKING
Smoking is permitted only in designated areas. Our staff will be happy to show you locations where smoking will not affect other guests.
FAMILY AND CHILDREN
Please review our rates or contact us directly for child pricing and family or group discounts.
CHECK-IN / CHECK-OUT TIMES
Standard check-in is 11:00 AM and check-out is 1:00 PM.
We are happy to offer flexible check-in and check-out times when possible to accommodate individual travel schedules. Please communicate any special requests in advance.
CANCELLATIONS / CHANGES
Deposits are transferable and may be applied toward future dates.
BAR DRINKS INCLUDED
Basic bar drinks are included, such as local beer, wine, rum, and similar selections.
MEAL TIMES
Chef Olvin works directly with each guest to coordinate meal times around tours and activities. Dinner is typically served at 6:30 PM.
WEATHER, TRAVEL CONDITIONS & INSURANCE
Las Cascadas Lodge is located in a remote rainforest environment where weather conditions, road access, and regional transportation may occasionally affect travel plans. Las Cascadas Lodge is not responsible for delays, interruptions, or changes to travel caused by weather, road conditions, airline schedules, or other circumstances beyond our control.
We strongly recommend that all guests purchase comprehensive travel insurance to protect against unforeseen events, including weather-related disruptions, flight delays, trip interruptions, or cancellations.
PASSPORT & ENTRY REQUIREMENTS
Passports must be valid for at least six (6) months beyond your dates of travel to enter Honduras.
Guests are responsible for verifying any visa requirements based on their nationality.
MEALS & DIETARY NEEDS
All meals are cooked to order. Please inform us in advance of any food allergies or dietary restrictions so we may accommodate you appropriately.
