Las Cascadas Lodge will arrange your shuttles to and from the hotel (from La Ceiba). We are in communication with the driver throughout the process to ensure a timely pickup and smooth transportation. Please send us any additional flight information in the form below to allow for better tracking and communication.

There is secure parking at Las Cascadas Lodge for guests driving their own vehicles.
There is no cell signal at Las Cascadas Lodge. Communication is by WiFi throughout the lodge areas. Additional questions? Use the form below or CONTACT US.
The Bar:
Bar drinks are included in your stay. We offer: local beer, wine, and basic spirits. Rum is the local liquor of choice. For specific high end options you may bring your own alcohol if you prefer. The bar is always open and self service is allowed!
Power:
Las Cascadas Lodge gets power from the city (110V). We also have backup power systems for Internet as well as lodge facilities. Updated NEW Lodge backup generator January 2026. Adding more comfort and security when the power goes out!
Security:
Las Cascadas Lodge has 24 hour gate security staff on duty.
Laundry:
Lodge staff can do laundry for you while you stay. The hotel provides bath and beach towels.
Amenities:
Hairdryers provided, security safes in rooms, water shoes for activities.
Payments:
The hotel accepts credit cards, PayPal, and cash USD and local Lempiras. Your balance will be charged at check in. Any additional tours or souvenirs can be paid for at the time of checking out.
For USD please avoid bills with tears or markings. Also avoid an excess of $20 notes as the banks have regulated limits on amounts accepted in this note.
Do not use ATM machines to withdraw cash if possible. If you need to obtain cash this way the safest method is by using a credit card. DO NOT USE DEBIT CARDS in ATM machines for any reason.
TIPPING:
Due to strict banking laws and 19% tax we cannot accept tips for staff by credit card. Honduras is also limited with little or no access to thinks like CashApp and Venmo. Please contact us if you would like suggestions or average gratuity amounts.
Customs Declaration Form
It is necessary to fill out a Honduran Customs form electronically. This can be done by using the QR code to link to the website below. One form per family is required.
WhatsApp:
More and more people are using WhatsApp, especially when traveling Internationally. It is a great way to make secure calls with better quality at zero cost. We recommend WhatsApp for your travels to Honduras. There is no cell service at Las Cascadas Lodge making a service such as this very helpful.
